Colleen grew up in Edmonton, surrounded by both cats and dogs, fostering a deep love for animals from an early age. Her experiences caring for pets shaped her lifelong passion for animals and her desire to work in veterinary medicine. In 2019, she made the exciting decision to move to Vancouver, where she decided to pursue her dream. She graduated from Douglas College’s Veterinary Assistant program in 2023, transitioning to a career dedicated to providing exceptional care for animals. Known for her compassionate approach and attention to detail, Colleen strives to ensure every patient receives the best care possible.

Her passion for learning continues to drive her ambition, with plans to further her education and become a Veterinary Technologist in the future. Colleen finds immense joy in spending time with animals, helping them heal, and watching them flourish in happy, healthy lives.

Outside of work, Colleen enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Vancouver. Whether hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, or relaxing by the water, she feels at home in the outdoors. On rainy days, she loves staying in with a good book, creating art, or unwinding with video games.

Colleen’s dedication to animals and her warm, adventurous nature make her a valued member of the Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists team.
