Kamryn was born in Princeton, BC and after a few family moves, graduated high school at Kelowna Secondary School. She attended the University of Saskatchewan for 2.5 years, pursuing a BSc in Agriculture, majoring in animal sciences with a strong interest in veterinary medicine as an ultimate goal. While in Saskatoon, she volunteered with wildlife rehabilitation centres and worked with companies in understanding plants and sustainable living styles but soon returned to the Okanagan to be with her family after the national quarantines.
In 2021, she finally began working in veterinary medicine as a receptionist, then assistant and will be working towards becoming a technologist in the near future. Kamryn is passionate about making every animal in her care feel as comfortable as possible and especially enjoys caring for wildlife and exotic pets in her spare time, including some of her own. Out of the many animals she has had the pleasure of owning in her adult life, only two have had fur!
