Having graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2005 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT), Kazuko brings close to 20 years of experience to Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver, with over 10 of those years as a Lead RVT. She takes great pride in creating a positive work environment, where all team members work together with a strong commitment to excellent patient care and client communication.

She was delighted to join the Bridgeway team, as she has had the privilege of working with both Dr. Jeff Bowra and Dr. Mark Smith since 2005, and fully understands the needs of clients and their pets when specialty surgery is required.

Kazuko is strongly dedicated to ensuring all pets and their families receive quality care and compassionate support. She is excited for the opportunity to continue growing and cultivating a collaborative, supportive team at Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver, and seeing patients benefit and thrive from our services.
Outside of work, Kazuko can be found exercising outdoors with her dog,Timba; working through life’s roller coasters at kickboxing; or curling up for snuggles with her cats, Wobbles and Pepper.

She is supported at home by her devoted husband and fun-loving son who have the pleasure of enjoying the many baked creations that emerge from her oven.
